In Christian community, we grow in faith, love and discipleship.
God created us as interactive beings, and we benefit from friendships and community. Christian community strengthens faith and discipleship as we learn from one another, support one another and love one another. You are invited to join one of these groups at Holy Cross Lutheran Church for fellowship and togetherness:
50 Plus Club – for senior adults aged 50 and above; meets monthly for trips, speakers and other events.
Ruth Circle – Women’s group meeting monthly for service and fellowship.
Men's Breakfast -- Men's group meeting about 9 times a year for breakfast, fellowship and service.
Youth Group – for youth in grades 6-12, meets twice a month on Sunday evenings and other times for service, fellowship and special events
Adult Sunday School – at 10:00am Sunday morning in Room 4
Come Grow with Us – meets twice yearly for those desiring to become members.
These online resources help us learn about community and relationships:
Small group Resources from Christianity today - Articles, curriculum suggestions and current topics relevant to faith-based small groups.
Small Group Communication - a general site with definitions, explanations and self-quizzes about groups and their benefits.
PRAIZE Christian Community - the newest way to connect with other Christians all over the world is through the internet. This site is one example of this, with options for chat rooms, blogs, instant messaging, and other resources. But online relationships are not a substitute for face-to- face friendships. Remember to use this site, as well as any online site, with caution. KIDS, get your parent’s permission to visit this link.
