The Holy Cross Youth Group
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the church in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12.
Our youth are an active part of our church's ministry. Youth Group for grades 6 through 12 supports them in worship, learning, outreach and fellowship.
Youth Group meets on the second and fourth Sunday evenings of the school year, and on additional days for special events. A typical youth meeting night begins with games and continues with a meal, small group time, and ends with student-led worship. To see the youth group calendar, click here.
Senior Youth is for youth in grades 9-12. The Senior youth are involved in small group Bible studies, service projects, an annual Senior High retreat, Youth Worship and other events. Every three years the Senior youth plan a mission trip outside the local area. The Senior youth are also involved in the ELCA National Gathering.
Junior Youth are youth in grades 6-8. The Junior youth are involved in small group activities and Bible study, a Junior youth Lock-in in the fall, service projects and other events. Our Junior youth are encouraged to participate in AFFIRM and other Synod youth events.
