Congratulations!  Deciding to join our fellowship is a time for celebration!

There are several ways to join Holy Cross Lutheran Church.  Those new to the Christian faith will join by receiving the gift of the sacrament of Holy Baptism.  Through the pouring on of water and the Word, sins are washed away and the newly baptized person becomes a beloved child of God.

Christians who have already been baptized will be received as members through affirmation of baptism.  This usually follows participation in the four part "Come Grow With Us" class.  Come Grow With Us is more than instruction. Here you will meet other new members, congregational leaders and learn about Holy Cross and its ministry.  The class is a way of welcoming our new members through a celebration of the gifts you bring and the discovery of the part you will play as we carry out Christ's work.

Those transferring from another Lutheran church often join through a letter of transfer, although we encourage you to also participate in the Come Grow With Us class.
